Immigrant Family Resource Program and Welcoming Centers
The goal of the Immigrant Family Resource Program (IFRP) is to ensure that low-income immigrant families and other limited-English speaking persons are able to thrive by reducing barriers when seeking public benefits they are eligible for (nutritional, medical, housing, psychological, childcare, employment) and need for proper health, well-being, and economic self-sufficiency. IFRP services are available in over 50 languages.
Protecting Immigrant Families - National
The Protecting Immigrant Families (PIF) National Campaign, co-led by the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) and the Center for Legal and Social Policy (CLASP), seeks to protect and defend access to health care, nutrition programs, public services, and economic support for immigrants and their families at the local, state, and federal level. More than 430 PIF member organizations are engaged in diverse strategies including, but not limited to support for defensive and affirmative policy, litigation, mobilization, and narrative change to ensure that everyone in the U.S. can live with dignity.

Request a Public Charge Training
PIF-IL advocates can provide free in-person trainings or free webinars for your organization on the topic of the final public charge rule. These trainings are typically an hour long and include information explaining the changes to the public charge rule, the expected impact of those changes, and messages and resources for immigrants and for organizations that serve the immigrant community. The trainings and webinars can be presented in English or in Spanish.
